Tanzania Horse Safaris offers a two hours unique horseback adventure, located just under an hour from Arusha, Moshi, and Kilimanjaro International Airport, set on the scenic Dolly Wildlife Estate. The ride takes place within a fenced estate where people, wildlife, and horses live in harmony beneath the shadow of Mt. Meru—with views of the majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro on clear days.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced rider, you’ll hopefully enjoy close-up encounters with wildlife (nothing is guaranteed) such as eland, zebra, wildebeest, kudu, bushbuck, impala, dik-dik, gazelle, and a dazzling variety of birdlife. Experienced riders can embrace exhilarating gallops along open trails, while those with less experience can explore at a slower pace, peaceful, meandering paths in and amongst the estate wildlife.
We offer morning and afternoon rides, all 2-hour rides. The morning rides depart at 0800AM & 1030AM, and the afternoon ride departs at 1630PM.

The ride will be set to the pace of the least experienced rider within your group booked, please do make sure everyone is aware of this.
Before you ride
Please note our weight limit is 95 KG & minimum age is 14 years old.
Everyone will be asked to sign an indemnity form upon arrival before mounting the horse and to fill in an accident report form in case of an accident.
THS will provide everyone with helmets, no helmet no riding.
During the ride, it is important that there is a vehicle nearby in case of emergency (provided by client or agent, not us).
Make sure one wear long trousers, closed shoes (ideally with a small heel) and bush colored clothing.
